IMAGING DISPLAY APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A display device is provided to clearly display image data on a display panel by maximally transmitting light from a backlight unit to the display panel without interruption due to a sensor panel. CONSTITUTION: A sensor panel(107) sense the first light which is reflected by an object and passes through a display panel(103). A control unit(115) controls power of a backlight unit(113) according to the passage of the first light. The sensor panel includes a sensor unit(109) and an opening(111). The opening unit passes through second light emitted from the backlight unit to the display panel. A diffusion plate diffuses the second light to the opening.
