PURPOSE: A method for transmitting optimized power through an analog or digital pre-distortion of a high power amplifier for a mobile communication base station and a repeater, and the high power amplifier thereof are provided to prevent the degradation of a mutual modulation distortion element. CONSTITUTION: An input detector(21) detects a level of a signal inputted from a gain control unit. A power amplifier(22) amplifies the signal inputted from the input detector with a preset level. An output detector(23) detects the signal which is amplified by the power amplifier. An APD(Analog Pre-Distorter)(24) calculates a coefficient from a rated input and output signal of the input detector and the output detector. The APD returns the calculated coefficient into an original input value by controlling the calculated coefficient to the value of the gain control unit.
