PURPOSE: A method and device for controlling a suspend mode in a dual modem device are provided to efficiently control transition to the suspend mode. CONSTITUTION: An application processor(130) communicates with a first communication network. A modem processor(140) includes a host module for controlling the application processor. The modem processor communicates with a second communication network. The application processor includes an IPC(Inter-Processor Communication) interface module of the application processor side to transmit and receive a signal to and from the modem processor.
