PURPOSE: An electrical connector for a flat conductor is provided to make a hooked part automatically bent by performing only the insertion in a flat state. CONSTITUTION: An electrical connector(1) for a flat conductor comprises a notch portion(18) which is formed at an upper wall(11) of a housing(10). A hooked portion of the flat conductor is positioned at a hooking protrusion(43B). The notch portion allows the upward bent operation of the hooked portion. The hooking protrusion is installed in a clamp tap(40) mounted in the housing, and is formed as a part of a lower wall of the housing. |
