DIAGNOSIS OF SUBMUCOSAL TUMOR USING ENDOSCOPIC ULTRASONIC IMAGE ANALYSIS

PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing a disease with the ultrasonic wave endoscopy image analysis of a submucosal tumor is provided to improve accuracy and reproduction for predicting malignant alteration. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic area, which is extracted from an endoscope ultrasonic image through endoscope ultrasonography, is standardized based on the average value of brightness(S100). A tumor area is extracted from a standardized ultrasonic area. A spot area with high echo among extracted tumor areas is separated from other areas(S200). The extracted tumor is analyzed and a symptom or malignant alteration information is produced into a numeric data for analysis(S300). Diseases are classified based on the numeric data(S400).
