PURPOSE: A polycosanol aqueous compoisiton and polycosanol solution using the same are provided to ensure thermal resistance, freeze-melting stability and acid resistance. CONSTITUTION: An aqueous composition contains 1-20 wt% of polycosanol, 1-20 wt% of lysolecithin, 1-40 wt% of solubilizing agent, 1-30 wt% of emulsifier, 10-60 wt% of glycerin, and remaining amount of water. The polycosanol is octacosanol, tetracosanol, hexacosanol, heptacosanol, nonacosanol, triacontanol, or tetratriacontanol. The emulsifier is hexaglycerin monostearate, hexaglycerin monolate, decaglycerin monostearate, decaglycerin monopalmitate, decaglycerin monolaurate, or glycerin ester. |
