The present invention provides a method of treating platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, including recurrent ovarian cancer, in a patient, comprising administering to the patient having ovarian cancer an effective amount of 4-iodo-3-nitrobenzamide or a metabolite or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; gemcitabine; and carboplatin.
