PURPOSE: An image display device, a system thereof, and a method for searching an object displayed on the image display device are provided to enable a user to install an application on the image display device. CONSTITUTION: An image display device transmits a signal including an image pattern of a selected object to an image pattern server(S1020). The image pattern server searches property information or keyword corresponding to the image pattern in a database(S1025). The image display device determines the keyword or property information(S1035). A search engine or application providing server searches the application information related to the keyword or property information(S1045).
