PASSENGER AIRBAG APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An airbag device for a passenger seat is provided to inflate an airbag cushion to a proper size by allowing a tether to cut off a vent hole. CONSTITUTION: An airbag device for a passenger seat comprises an airbag cushion(10) and a tether(20). The airbag cushion is inflated when gas flows into the airbag cushion. The gas is discharged from the airbag cushion to the outside through a vent hole(15). The tether is arranged inside the airbag cushion and is moved with the airbag cushion when the airbag cushion is inflated. The tether controls the inflated shape of the airbag cushion and cuts off the vent hole.
