The antenna has lower and upper printed circuit boards (1, 2) interconnected by perpendicular links (3). A conductor sub-assembly (4) ensures isolation of the antenna with respect to its immediate environment. A balun (5) is realized in the form of a transformer and permits piloting sections of the antenna in opposite phase. The balun is associated with an impedance adaptation network (6) to supply power to the antenna by considering characteristics of the sub-assembly. Transmitter and/or receiver electronics (7) and a power supply (8) are directly integrated on one of the circuit boards.
