PURPOSE: A document information providing system using a document scan terminal is provided to utilize data and content by enabling a user to easily search the content of a server. CONSTITUTION: Access networks are connected to a document scanning terminal. An MIH(Media Independent Handover) server connects the document scanning terminal to one or more access networks. A transmission and reception unit(135) is connected to the document scanning terminal through a wire network which is connected to the access network. An automatic data recognition unit(137) stores document information in a database(139) by automatically recognizing the document information which is received from the transmission and reception unit.
