PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing collar fan of an alternator using the steel pipe is provided to reduce an assembly time of elements by integrating a collar and a fan. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing collar fan of an alternator using the steel pipe comprises next steps. The steel pipe is cut in a proper size according to the collar fan. The inner diameter of a steel pipe is extended from the bottom part to the part in which a fan is formed. The extended part is horizontally flat in order to form a first molded product. The groove forming the fan blade is formed along the circumference of the first moldings. A concavo-convex shape is molded on the junction with segment in order to form a second molded product. The part of the fan blade of the second molded produced is bent to make a collar(51). The collar is formed by using a dip drawing method for the central part of the board.
