PURPOSE: A method for correcting the error of a GPS(Global Positioning System) is provided to reduce a measurement error due to the multi-paths of a GPS satellite signal by performing positioning using the satellite signal of a straight signal which is received from a selected satellite in a visible area. CONSTITUTION: A GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver(151) respectively receives a satellite signal which is transmitted from a plurality of GPS satellites. A data extraction part(152) produces the data including an elevation, an azimuth, and a carrier to noise ratio(C/No) for each corresponding GPS satellite from each received satellite signal. A satellite selection part(153) selects a GPS satellite within a visible area using a calculated data. A signal processing part(154) processes a signal using a satellite signal which is transmitted from a selected GPS satellite. |
