<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a text summary technique capable of generating summaries with high content coverage and readability. <P>SOLUTION: Weighed parameters for a set of features considering the order of two feature elements and sentence element scores for sentence elements constituting sentences are stored in advance. Input sentences are converted, one or more converted sentences are generated for each of the input sentences, feature elements are extracted from the converted sentences, a content score of each of the converted sentences is determined using a sentence element score for sentence elements contained in the converted sentence. A conjunction score of each of the converted sentences is determined using the feature elements and weighed parameters extracted by a feature element extraction part, and the permutation of the converted sentences that maximizes the sum of the content score and conjunction score or an approximate value of the maximum value is sought. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
