<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return a binding means to a home position without mis-detecting the failure of the binding means even when the binding means is locked outside a home when a driving part of the binding means is operated reversely upon homing of the binding means. <P>SOLUTION: The binding device 200 includes: a position detection part 210 that detects whether the binding part 201 is in the home position; the driving part 202 that drives the binding part in positive and reverse directions; and a lock mechanism 213 that locks the binding part not to perform binding operation when reversely operated from the home position. The binding device 200 also includes: an abnormality detection part 110 that detects the abnormality when the lock mechanism locks and the detection condition of the position detection part does not change even if continuously driven when the driving part is reversely operated upon homing; and a control means (CPU 101) that operates the driving part positively instead a usual resume operation when the success or failure of resume operation to the home position is determined by the abnormality detection part and the resume operation is failed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
