<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for vehicle capable of determining it that a transmission ratio is fixed though the transmission ratio is not fixed by a lock mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The steering device for vehicle 1 includes: a transmission ratio changing mechanism 13; a transmission ratio control motor 14; the lock mechanism 25 for fixing a transmission ratio; a reaction compensation motor 15; and a controller. The lock mechanism 25 includes: a lock member 62 for restricting rotation of a carrier 57; and a solenoid 61 for supporting the lock member 62 so as to be displaced at a first position P1 engaged to the carrier 57, or at a second position P2 not engaged to the carrier 57. In a first determination section of the controller, in case that the transmission ratio is not fixed by the lock member 62, and that a rotor 14a of a transmission ratio control motor 14 is rotated by a first prescribed angle θa1, when difference of a detection value θb1 of a second resolver 32 for the reaction compensation motor 15 from the first prescribed angle θa1 is a prescribed angle or less, it is determined that the transmission ratio is fixed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
