<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling performance of an air fan which is installed on a drive motor and located at a border between a heat source side space having a heat source and a low temperature side space with a relatively lower temperature than the heat source side space and feeds gas from the low temperature side space at a relatively lower temperature to the heat source side space, and to reduce an increase in weight and cost. <P>SOLUTION: The air fan includes a resin-made boss 11 located at the rotation center and fixed to a rotation shaft of the drive motor, and a plurality of resin-made blades 15 formed radially from the boss 11. Heat conduction layers 21 are continually provided on both surfaces of the blade 15 to improve heat conductivity on the surface of the blade 15, thereby improving cooling performance. Thus, the increase in weight and cost can be suppressed as compared with a case that the whole fan is formed of a metal or structured of resin containing a filler with high thermal conductivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
