<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound system and method which provide slice images corresponding to at least one slice on the basis of at least three points set to a three-dimensional ultrasound image and additional information corresponding to positions of three points. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasound system comprises: an ultrasound data acquisition unit for transmitting/receiving ultrasound signals to acquire ultrasound data; a user input unit for setting at least three points on a three-dimensional ultrasound image; and a processor which is connected to the ultrasound data acquisition unit and the user input unit, forms the three-dimensional ultrasound image by volume data rendering using the ultrasound data, and sets at least one slice to the three-dimensional ultrasound image on the basis of at least three points set on the three-dimensional ultrasound image on the basis of the input information, and forms at least one slice image corresponding to the at least one slice and additional information corresponding to the positions of the at least three points. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
