<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high lift rudder for a ship capable of efficiently converting rotating energy of flux of propulsion propeller wake to lift force by the rudder and using an advance directional component to be used as thrust. <P>SOLUTION: The high lift rudder for the ship has a piece of a rudder blade 102 arranged on a propulsion propeller axis at a rear of a propulsion propeller, and the rudder blade 102 has a wing cross-sectional shape in a horizontal cross section. A front edge area on the front side of a maximum width part 102a is divided into an upper front edge area 102b and a lower front edge area 102c with a horizontal surface including the propulsion propeller axis as a boundary, and the wing cross-sectional shape in the upper front edge area 102b and the wing cross-sectional shape in the lower front edge area 102c are formed into plane symmetry each other to a vertical surface. In the upper front edge area 102b and the lower front edge area 102c, one side in a rotating direction is a drag surface and the other side in the rotating direction is a lift surface in the rotating direction of the propulsion propeller that rotates from one to the other around the propulsion propeller axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
