<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an IT system with minimum generation of bottlenecks in a network by effectively utilizing band usage of the network. <P>SOLUTION: A system management device collects performance information from a network device and calculates an average, a peak value, and an variance from the collected performance information. The system management device constructs a structure pattern for virtual servers which configure a business system when receiving an additional request for a business system, obtains traffic condition of network routes, locates points in the traffic condition at which traffic quality highly degrades, and selects a pattern having a route with the smallest traffic variance as the system structure of the requested business system based on traffic information for the located point of quality deterioration in patterns. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
