<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide position information which is so accurate that a current floor can be identified indoors. <P>SOLUTION: A position information distribution system includes: a plurality of position information distribution devices for generating pseudo signals of a signal transmitted by a satellite in a GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), on the basis of, for example, installation positions thereof and transmitting the pseudo signals as radio signals; a receiving device; and a position information database for holding, with respect to each of position information distribution devices, detailed position information and information indicating simulation target satellites. A combination of the simulation target satellites of each of the position information distribution devices is decided so that the receiving device does not simultaneously receive radio signals transmitted by two or more position information distribution devices having the same combination of simulation target satellites. The receiving device notifies the position information database of information indicating a current position calculated on the basis of a received radio signal and indicating a satellite corresponding to each pseudo signal included in the received radio signal, thereby acquiring detailed position information of a position information distribution device which has transmitted the received radio signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
