<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the fitting resistance caused by the elastic deflection of a lock arm when a housing is fitted. <P>SOLUTION: A front end portion of a lock arm 14 is a free end which interferes with an engaging portion 32 of a male connector M (mating connector). The lock arm 14 includes: a first arm portion 15 having a lock portion 21 which engages with the engaging portion 32; an operation portion 18 formed at a rear end portion of the first arm portion 15; a second arm portion 22 which extends forward from the operation portion 18; and a leg portion 24 which extends from the operation portion 18. An extending end portion of the second arm portion 22 continues into a connector housing 10, and the leg portion 24 continues into an area of the connector housing 10, which is located between the lock portion 21 and the operation portion 18 in the front-back direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
