A pelvic support application apparatus for positioning a flexible pelvic support (300) adjacent a patient/casualty. The application apparatus comprises at least a first semi-rigid or rigid elongate planar element (100), and a means (204, 206) of releasably securing a flexible pelvic support (300) adjacent the planar element (100) such that, in use the planar element (100) and pelvic support (300) can be slid between a person and a surface against which the person is supported. The apparatus may also comprise a second elongate planar element (200) releasably attachable to the first elongate planar element (100). The second elongate element (200) may also be rigid or semi-rigid. |
