The system has a catch/suction arm catching or sucking multiple packaging units to carry the packaging units along a path and to place the packaging units in a collective package. A sensor system acquires integrity of the collective package. The sensor system is arranged such that the packaging units are under-detected when the packaging units are fed along the path. Detecting information is determined over distance and/or color points within the catch/suction arm. Multiple measuring points are extracted by turning/movement of a measuring system. An independent claim is also included for a method for loading of a collective package.
