<p>A method and device for transmitting broadcast service in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system are provided in present invention, which are used for solving the technical defect of the waste of resource, when a single cell Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) service is transmitted, the resource is allocated by a Multi-cell/multicast Coordination Entity (MCE) and the allocation of the resource is not flexible. In the invention, for the single cell MBMS service, the MCE only transmits the MBMS service configuration parameters to an evolved Node B (eNB), and does not perform a unified scheduling to the resource, after the eNB receives a session starting signal of the single cell MBMS service, the allocation of the resource is performed to the MBMS service, the eNB can allocate the resource in a common sub-frame for bearing the MBMS service, and can also share a sub-frame resource with common service. This invention both increase resource utilization rate and improve resource allocation flexibility in the single cell MBMS service.</p> |
