<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw for fixing a cable, which fixes core wires of a cable such as an electric cable without damaging them. <P>SOLUTION: The screw 10 for fixing the cable is threadedly engaged with a screw hole 122a so that it fixes core wires 3 protruded from the end of the cable between a holder 122 having a screw hole 122a formed therein, and a connection 121 arranged to face the holder 122, and the end of the screw pushes the core wires 3a onto the connection 121. The screw includes: a screw body 11 having a male screw threadedly engaged with the screw hole 122a and moving back and forth by rotating in the circumferential direction; and a pressing part 12 attached to the end of the screw body 11 and contacting with and separating from the core wires 3a of the cable. The screw also includes: a gutter-shaped recess 12a where the pressing part 12 abuts on the side surface of the core wires 3a of the cable without interlocking with the rotation in the circumferential direction of the screw body 11; and a protrusion 12b controlling the direction of the recess 12a so that it is along the side surface of the core wires 3a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
