<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time information display position control device that can configure time information to be displayed at a stable and appropriate position. <P>SOLUTION: A time information display position control device selects one of the plurality of display areas in an image as a display area of time information. The device determines whether movement in an image in each display area exists to decide a position of the time information. When movement in an image in a default initial display area does not exist, the time information is displayed at the initial display area.
