<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for protecting portable electronic equipment from a momentary voltage drop or momentary power failure due to impact at the time of being dropped. <P>SOLUTION: In the case where portable electronic equipment 100 is dropped, a CPU 10 stops supply of an electric power to a prescribed unit. The prescribed unit is a unit needless for a continuous operation of the portable electronic equipment 100. When the portable electronic equipment 100 collides with a floor face, a ground surface, etc., a terminal of a battery 1 may separate from a connector 2 momentarily. In this case, the momentary voltage drop or the momentary power failure may take place. Since an electric power supply to the CPU 10 and a RAM 12 is continued though an electric power supply to the prescribed unit is stopped, the electric power supply to the CPU 10 and RAM 12 can be continued by a charge stored in a capacitor inside the portable electronic equipment 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
