PAPER PRESSER DEVICE, PAPER FOLDING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To press ejected paper as intended regardless of a state of paper to enable loading of more sheets of the paper.

SOLUTION: A paper presser device 50 for pressing the paper conveyed to be folded on a paper ejection tray 41 has a presser member 44 comprising four joints of connecting members composing a parallel link mechanism pressing the paper sheets from upward. The four joints of the connecting members connect one end on the lower side of an upper support plate 44b to the upper support plate 44b. The paper presser device includes a lower swinging plate 44e connecting both ends respectively by connecting a front swinging plate 44d positioned in the upstream side of a paper conveying direction and a rear swinging plate 44f positioned in the downstream side to respective other ends of the front and rear swinging plates 44d, 44f so that the lower swinging plate 44e is pressed from upward.
