<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe humidifier capable of preventing the occurrence of electric shock due to a backflow of steam to an electrostatic atomizer. <P>SOLUTION: Moisture evaporated from a heating tank 15 is made to pass through a bypass pipe 32 and water drops are supplied to the electrostatic atomizer 31. The bypass pipe 32 includes a water-absorbing material 41 capable of interrupting steam but capable of making liquid moisture through pass. The water-absorbing material 41 can interrupt steam flowing into the electrostatic atomizer 31 and also can supply liquid moisture, and thereby even when an outlet 20 is closed and steam is allowed to flow backward from the outlet 20 to the bypass pipe 32, the water-absorbing material 41 surely converts the steam into water drops, and not steam but water drops can be supplied to the electrostatic atomizer 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
