<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium stacker capable of stacking discharged recording medium in a stable manner while having good load-bearing properties, and to provide a recording apparatus that includes such a recording medium stacker. <P>SOLUTION: A second stacker 50 is provided with base-end shaft-like projection portions 51 and leading-end shaft-like projection portions 52 that protrude outward in the width direction from both sides of the second stacker at the base end of the second stacker in the pull-out direction thereof. A first stacker 40 is provided with guide rails on which each of the shaft-like projection portions 51, 52 slides when the second stacker is pulled out; contact portions 45 that allow the leading-end shaft-like projection portions 52 to pass with no contact but prevent the base-end shaft-like projection portions 51 from passing when the second stacker is pulled out; and a support portion that supports the leading-end shaft-like projection portions 52 when the base-end shaft-like projection portions 51 are in contact with the contact portions 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
