<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge head which can effectively suppress generation of bubbles near nozzles when the ink in a liquid storage chamber is heated, and which is freed of the risk of ejection bending and non-ejection. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid droplet discharge head has a body substrate 10 composed of a plurality of nozzles 111 which discharge the liquid, a plurality of pressure chambers 131 which communicate with the nozzles 111, a diaphragm 14 which constitutes one wall surface of the pressure chambers 131, and piezoelectric elements which discharge the liquid in the pressure chambers 131 from the nozzles 111 by displacing the diaphragm 14; the liquid storage chamber 41 which stores the liquid supplied to each of the pressure chambers 131; a first heating means which is provided in the liquid storage chamber 41 and heats the inside liquid to a predetermined temperature; and an insulating layer 30 which is provided between the body substrate 10 and the liquid storage chamber 41 and forms a temperature difference to the liquid supplied from the liquid storage chamber 41 to the body substrate 10 so as to hold (a liquid temperature in the liquid storage chamber)>(a liquid temperature in the pressure chamber). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
