The present invention relates to a method for providing a payment service, and to a system, apparatus, and terminal for the same. The method for providing a payment service of the present invention comprises: an access point (AP) which recognizes the terminal that has entered data communication coverage, interconnects data communications between the recognized terminal and a preset device, and transmits a terminal identifier of the terminal; and a payment-processing device which activates a data communication network between the access point and the terminal on the basis of the received terminal identifier, and enables, if it is confirmed that a user has paid a charge using the terminal, payment result information based on the confirmed payment breakdown to be transmitted to the terminal via the specific access point identified in accordance with preset information. According to the present invention, the user may not use a mobile communication network provided by a mobile communication service provider when the user is provided with the result of the payment via the terminal, thus preventing the incurrence of additional expenses such as expenses for SMS. |
