The method involves comparing the sign of the cross-wind with the sign of the cross-wind change. The cross-wind compensating measures are carried-out in case of conformity of the sign. The slip angle and the slip angle change are determined. An independent claim is also included for a regulating- or controlling device for executing the cross-wind compensation method.
