<p>Disclosed is a display device in which elongation of the production lead time that accompanies reduction in the pitch between projecting electrodes is avoided and high-quality connection can thus be achieved. In a display device (100), metal wiring (115), a protective film (116), a planarizing film (118) and a metal electrode (119) are formed in a display section (101) and a terminal section (102). A plurality of projecting electrodes (103) are formed in the terminal section (102). The projecting electrodes (103) are constituted by at least the metal wiring (115), the planarizing film (118) and the metal electrode (119). The surface portion of the terminal section (102) other than the projecting electrodes (103) is covered by the protective film (116). The planarizing film (118) of the projecting electrodes (103) is formed on the metal wiring (115) of the projecting electrodes (103). The metal electrode (119) of the projecting electrodes (103) is formed on the planarizing film (118) of the projecting electrodes (103). Both ends of the metal electrode (119) of at least the projecting electrodes (103) are connected to the metal wiring (115) of the projecting electrodes (103).</p> |
