WRITING METHOD FOR SOLID-STATE DRIVE IN MULTI-LEVEL CACHE HIERARCHY AND DEVICE THEREOF

A writing method for Solid-State Drive (SSD) in multi-level cache hierarchy and a device thereof are provided in the present invention. The method includes:obtaining the IO load value of the Hard Disk Driver(HDD) and an IO load threshold; exchanging the contents between the SSD and the HDD by writing the contents with the highest hotness value in the HDD into the SSD and writing the contents with the lowest hotness value in the SSD into the HDD, if the highest hotness value of the HDD contents in multi-level cache hierarchy is greater than the lowest hotness value of the SSD contents in multi-level cache hierarchy and the IO load value of the HDD is greater than or equal to the IO load threshold. The embodiments of the present invention provide lower costs.
