<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrator which concentrates a liquid to be treated by rotating the agitation blades with a rotating shaft extending in a nearly horizontal direction and which enables efficient concentration treatment by suppressing floating or diffusion of vapor generated from the liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The concentrator 1 is provided with: a rotating shaft 11 pivotally supported nearly horizontally; a treating drum 5 having a feed opening 19 for charging the liquid to be treated and a discharge port 21 for discharging a treated liquid; the agitation blades 13 formed around the rotating shaft 11; and a drive unit 25 for rotating the shaft 11. A vapor drum 6 is arranged at one side of the treating drum 5, and a vapor flow path 6a for moving the vapor and a wall part 6b for suppressing a concentrated liquid from flowing in the treating drum 5 are formed between the treating drum 5 and the vapor drum 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
