<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decrease of an image quality caused by a liquid temperature difference between proximate discharge ports by controlling a partial temperature drop because there is a risk of generation of the partial temperature drop of a liquid discharge substrate when the liquid discharge substrate is cooled by a liquid that flows in an inlet and a sub-channel depending on positions where the inlet and the sub-channel are formed. <P>SOLUTION: A channel 10 formed in a channel member 2 for supplying the liquid to the liquid discharge substrate 2 includes an opening formed for flowing the liquid at a part except regions of both ends of a discharge port array 212, a first channel 12 and a second channel 14. The first channel 12, a low thermal conductivity portion 131 and the second channel 14 are provided in this order with respect to a direction vertical to a mounted face 11. The opening and the low thermal conductivity portion 131 are provided to be at least partially overlapped one above the other with respect to the direction vertical to the mounted face 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
