<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of reducing cost of superconducting wire rod and improving electrical conduction properties. <P>SOLUTION: This tape base material for superconducting wire rod comprises: a metal substrate; a bed layer formed on the metal substrate; an orientation layer formed on the bed layer by ion beam assist evaporation method. The bed layer consists of nesosilicate. By applying a prescribed heat treatment after forming the bed layer, a substrate surface layer composed of oxide of constituent element of the metal substrate is formed on the boundary surface of the metal substrate and the bed layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
