<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device preventing damage of a switching element and the like when a smoothing capacitor is discharged, reducing cost and maintaining or reducing a circuit scale. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion device includes a backup power supply Eb supplying power at least on discharging, and a discharge time driving circuit Mb operating by receiving power supplied from the backup power supply Eb on discharging, ON/OFF-driving one switching element Qu and driving the other switching element Qd to be always ON. The discharge time driving circuit Mb includes an arithmetic processing section Mc having a conversion section Me making a potential similar to an output terminal of the other switching element Qd to be a reference potential and converting a detection signal detecting a state (current and temperature, for example) of the switching element into data information and a signal generation section Mg generating a driving signal which individually drives the switching elements Qu and Qd based on the data information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
