<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sticking a set of two long roll-like polarizing plates, which are arranged in a back-and-face asymmetrical manner, to a liquid crystal cell with high axis precision while restraining the polarizing plates from being curled, and trapping of air bubbles and foreign matters during sticking them together, without cutting the polarizing plates into a fixed size. <P>SOLUTION: A set of polarizing plates includes: a first roll-like polarizing plate 20 which is a long polarizing plate in which a protective film 25, a polarizing film 21, an adhesive layer 27, and a release film are laminated in that order, has a roll shape and a width corresponding to a long side of a liquid crystal cell, and is stuck to the rear side of the liquid crystal cell, while the polarizing film 21 having an absorption axis parallel to a lengthwise direction of the polarizing plate 20; and a second roll-like polarizing plate 30 which is a long polarizing plate in which an anti-glare film 34 with a haze value of 0.1% or more and 45% or less, a polarizing film 31, an adhesive layer 37, and a release film are laminated in that order, has a roll shape and a width corresponding to a short side of the liquid crystal cell and is stuck to the visible side of the liquid crystal cell, while the polarizing film 31 having an absorption axis parallel to a lengthwise direction of the polarizing plate 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
