<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cytotoxic T cell epitope peptide specific to Epstein-Barr virus (described as EBV in the following), to provide a vaccine using the peptide and for treating or preventing the EBV infection and cancer positive to the virus, to provide an agent for passive immunotherapy to the EBV, and to provide a quantitative determination method of the cytotoxic T cell specific to the EBV. <P>SOLUTION: The mRNA of LMP1 and EBNA1 being EBV-related proteins, is induced in an antigen-presenting cell so that it is clarified that the cell induces the cytotoxic T cell specific to the EBV. It is clarified that the cytotoxic T cell recognizes the epitope peptide represented on HLA-A*0206 molecule, HLA-Cw*0303 molecule or HLA-Cw*0304 molecule, further, inhibits the growth of the EBV-infected B cell and dissolves the EBV-infected NK lymphoma and NK cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
