The present invention is directed to provide a switching unit having a unique address, wherein the switching unit has a plurality of impedance elements (resistor, inductive reactance, capacitive reactance, light emitting element, diode and the like) connected in series inside and dip switches connected in parallel between the impedance elements, and uses a voltage level that varies by ON/OFF of the dip switches as a unique address and transmits the unique address to a central monitoring station such that an appropriate action is taken at a corresponding position of the switching unit. The switching unit having a unique address according to the present invention comprises a plurality of switches that are installed at many locations inside and outside a building and operates in response to a given circumstance and an operational state thereof is transmitted to the central monitoring station, wherein each switching unit is connected to a plurality of voltage-drop members at a switching connection end thereof, and selecting members are connected in parallel between the respective voltage-drop members such that a voltage-drop value of the voltage-drop member is selectively determined by the selecting member and the voltage level value having been dropped is transmitted to the central monitoring station. |
