<p>A support structure for an omni-directional vehicle with automatic control of the movement thereof, particularly a support structure designed to operate a vehicle that is capable of performing any turning movement autonomously from any point or movement both longitudinally and transversely, autonomously, without the need for personnel and in a very small space. The support structure includes, as movement means, the assembly of four sets of omni-directional roller wheels (1), electronic control means and mechanical support means, in which each set of wheels preferably consists of four discs or rings (4) of rollers in mutually adjacent positions, connected by screws (17) or the like, that pass through holes (7), and in alternately offset positions such that the rollers (1) of adjacent discs or rings are in a staggered arrangement.</p> |
