<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of continuously discharging hot water at a high temperature suitable for vending hot drinks, and capable of reducing a volume of a hot water tank to save energy. <P>SOLUTION: The water heater 20 discharges hot water from a hot water discharge port 24 disposed in an upper part of a hot water tank 21, and supplies drink water in an amount corresponding to the discharged amount of hot water through a water supply port 23 disposed in the bottom 22a of the hot water tank 21. The water heater includes a control unit 50 that controls hot water reserved in the hot water tank 21 to a prescribed temperature, on the basis of temperature detection by a temperature sensor 29 disposed close to a water level of the hot water discharge port 24 and a temperature sensor 30 disposed lower than the temperature sensor 29 and close to the water supply port 23, by heating by use of a main heater 27 disposed lower than the hot water discharge port 24 and close to the hot water discharge port 24 than the water supply port 23 and of a sub-heater 28 disposed lower than the main heater 27 and close to the water supply port 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
