<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve utilization efficiency of light emitted from a headlight 1. <P>SOLUTION: The headlight 1 includes a semiconductor laser diode 3 for emitting a laser beam, a light-emitting section 7 for emitting light by receiving the laser beam emitted from the semiconductor laser diode 3, a reflecting mirror 8 for reflecting light emitted from the light-emitting section 7, and an emission-adjusting lens 20 for bending the light emitted from the light-emitting section 7. An irradiation region S1 where light emitted from the reflecting mirror 8 is irradiated to a plane perpendicular to an optical axis of the reflecting mirror 8 is within a region satisfying a light-distribution criteria of a self device, and is larger than an opening region S2 of the reflecting mirror. The emission-adjusting lens 20 forms a light flux advancing within a three-dimensional angle formed by the optical axis of the reflecting mirror 8 and a straight line for connecting an outer edge of the irradiation region S1 and an end of a diameter of the emission-adjusting lens 20 by receiving light from the light-emitting section. Therefore, utilization efficiency of the light emitted from the headlight 1 can be improved in consideration of its compactness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
