PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to obtain his or her desired coupon.

SOLUTION: This coupon selection support device is provided with: a merchandise information acquisition part for acquiring merchandise information relating to the object merchandise of a coupon; a merchandise analyzing part for analyzing the object merchandise of the coupon based on the merchandise information acquired by the merchandise information acquisition part, and for associating the coupons of the object merchandise having the related merchandise information; a use history acquisition part for acquiring the use history of the coupon by each user; a history analyzing part for analyzing the purchase period of the merchandise purchased in the past by each user based on the use history acquired by the use history acquisition part; and a selection support part for predicting the next purchase period of the merchandise from the result of analysis of the history analyzing part about each user, and for preferentially presenting the coupon whose object merchandise is pertinent to the pertinent merchandise and the coupon associated with the pertinent coupon by the merchandise analyzing part in the next purchase period.
