<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor which can totally remove a wear powder deposited on a slide member, prevents the deterioration of driving efficiency and driving performance, and prevents the shortening of a life. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic motor comprises: an oscillator 11 which excites vibration; drive elements 12a and 12b provided on the oscillator 11; a holder 13 which holds the oscillator 11; and a grind stone 14 for grinding provided in the holder 13.
