<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear reactor power monitoring technology for improving accuracy and reliability in monitoring nuclear thermal-hydraulic stability. <P>SOLUTION: A nuclear reactor power monitoring device 30 includes; a first calculation unit 42 for calculating a first stability index using time series data which shows an output vibration of a nuclear instrumentation signal S output from a plurality of nuclear instrumentation detectors 31 detecting neutrons in a core; a first determining unit 44 for determining whether nuclear thermal-hydraulic stability of the core is maintained or deteriorated by comparing the first stability indicator with a first reference value; a second calculation unit 46 for calculating a second stability indicator of the core based on the time series data in a case in which the nuclear thermal-hydraulic stability is determined to be deteriorated by the first determining unit 44; and a second determining unit 47 for comparing the second stability index with a second reference value to determine whether a suppressing operation of the output vibration is to be performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
