<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which is capable of composing a read image corresponding to information added to a sheet by a user at a proper position of an image to be composed. <P>SOLUTION: When an aspect ratio of an image to be composed is different from a predetermined aspect ratio, the aspect ratio of the image to be composed is changed so as to match the predetermined aspect ratio, thereby creating a reference image of the predetermined aspect ratio.
